FACTS:
-
Black voters now make up a third of Georgia’s electorate and have the power to decide election outcomes.
-
In 2020 Black voters turned out in record numbers, helping flip the state and sending Georgia’s first Black and Jewish representatives to the Senate.
-
Immediately after the election, the Georgia Legislature passed one of the most repressive voting laws in the country.
-
We cannot allow voter suppression to undermine Black political power in Georgia.

WHAT CAN YOU DO:
-
Make sure you, your family, friends, and community are properly registered to vote.
-
Make sure you, your family, friends, and community know how and where to vote. Voter suppression laws have changed many aspects of voting. Be informed!
-
Vote the entire ballot. Local races such as city council, county officials, school boards, sheriffs, prosecutors, judges, and clerks of court, are important, powerful positions! Make sure they represent YOU!
-
Only support candidates who endorse free, unrestricted access to the vote for every Georgia citizen.
-
Volunteer for WVWW civic engagement and mobilization campaigns in metro Atlanta, Macon, Savannah, Columbus, Augusta, Albany, and other Georgia locations.
-
Support our efforts to bring medical coverage to all Georgians with a DONATION.
